Inspired by his summer pest control job, Mike Prosperi started Bug House Pest Control in 1993. He did so well that just three years later, he was able to purchase Mitchell Pest Control from Bob and Dennis Mitchell. Not many people can take an idea and make it a success so soon—and not just a flash in the pan success, either. Bug House Pest Control has been going strong for 30 years and counting.
Milledgeville was still a small town in the 1990s, but rapidly growing, and Mike saw it as the perfect place to found his company. He started small with one employee and one location, but after decades of growth, he now has more than 16 locations across Georgia and employs over 150 team members. Bug House even provides services in Alabama and South Carolina.
At Bug House, protecting homes is the top priority. Each one of their skilled staff makes it their goal to treat every client like family and every house like their own home. All services are customized to suit the individual needs of the job. Even in challenging situations, Bug House looks for opportunities instead of focusing on the negative.
