Lake Oconee Food and Wine Festival

13th Annual Firefly Trail Ticket to Ride + Union Point’s 120th Birthday Celebration
March 23rd | 10am - 3pm | Downtown Union Point
On Saturday, March 23, 2024, cyclists, bike enthusiasts, and area residents alike with be convening in Union Point for a day of celebrating milestones. This year, the City of Union Point celebrates not only the completion of the Firefly Trail between Union Point and Oglethorpe County, but Union Point’s 120th birthday. The city’s historic Union Theater will serve as a hub for event registration, refreshments and SAG support for cyclists, and as a starting point for the event. The birthday celebration will run in conjunction with live music, food trucks, vendor booths, tours of the city’s historical museum, 5K Fun Run, train ride for kids, and a book signing with well-known author and sports broadcaster, Tony Barnhart.
Sweet Tee Off Golf Tournament

The Chamber's Annual Sweet Tee Off Golf Tournament has become a highly anticipated event. Not only does it offer golfers the opportunity to compete and have fun, but it also provides a great networking environment for professionals in the community. Various sponsors, including the Presenting Sponsor, Hole Sponsors, Lunch Sponsors, and 19th Hole Sponsor, are recognized and supported by the Chamber. The funds raised from the tournament are used to award scholarships, including one for a graduating senior at Central Georgia Technical College.
Southland Jubilee

Join the Georgia College and State University's for their Annual JazzFest on Saturday, April 27 at 4 pm. This year, they are thrilled to have Joe Gransden, a renowned jazz artist, as their guest performer. The event will take place on Front Campus, showcasing the talents of their talented student musicians. However, in case of rain, the event will be moved to the Russell Auditorium. Don't miss out on this exciting celebration of jazz music!
Dairy Festival

The combination of their energy, musicianship, originality, and excitement has solidified A1A as the ultimate Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show.
