Learn a Beautiful Way with Words

Linda Elkins will review the strokes to create Calligraphy in upper and lower Chancery Cursive learned in Session I and will help with any questions and will review the 4 simple rules for holding a Calligraphy pen.

She will demonstrate how to use cartridge Calligraphy pens and a pen holder with different nibs. You will practice connecting letters to make words, numbers, and address an envelope. You will create a project using Calligraphy letters with a layout and steps to producing a finished piece.

(Prerequisite Calligraphy I)

Cost of Class: $45

Supply Cost: $5.00 each – Elegant Calligraphy felt-tip writers. I use a 2.5 to begin. Available in class

Supplies to be provided: Instructor will provide a prepared Calligraphy booklet filled with interesting and helpful information, including where to get supplies, helpful websites, and many examples of Calligraphy.

Supplies for students to bring: Each student should bring… Any Calligraphy pens you have, notepad, computer paper, a kneaded eraser, soft lead pencil, handy wipes.
