It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown Milledgeville as preparations are made for the holiday season. However, the annual First Friday Tree Lighting will look a little different this year. Due to COVID-19, the event will be scaled back.

The City of Milledgeville, Fowler Flemister and Custom Signs and Designs have partnered to host the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The tree lighting will take place at 6:00pm on West Hancock Street in front of The Local Yolkal Cafe.
