The Main Street Economic Vitality Committee’s goal is to encourage the founding and successful growth of local businesses in Downtown Eatonton. Eatonton Main Street and the Economic Vitality Committee are both invested in helping them succeed so all our local businesses can thrive and create jobs in our community.

To assist our local start-ups launch successfully and existing small businesses grow to the next level, the Economic Vitality Committee is producing the Business Education Expo, or BEE, a set of educational seminars in September covering a broad range of business-focused topics targeted at potential and existing business owners. The first seminar is a high-level overview from about 8 professionals from varied fields (law, insurance, banking, etc.) about what they do and why it’s important to business owners. The second two seminars are breakout sessions from the first, with four professionals in each, providing more in-depth information about things potential and existing business owners should know about their area of expertise.
