Oconee Outfitters is having a Full Moon Float on the Oconee River on Saturday, May 28th. The float will start at the Oconee River Greenway at 9 p.m. and will end at the Central State Hospital ramp. Rentals are available for $35/single kayak, or $60/tandem. If renting, the kayaks will be ready at the Greenway and taken care of afterward.

Participants are requested to show up by 8:30 p.m. at the Greenway. If possible, participants should plan to provide a shuttle for themselves. That means participants will need two vehicles, one of which they’ll drop at the Central State Boat Ramp (https://goo.gl/maps/ArRHuTB4wwG2), where your other vehicle will pick them up and transport them back to the Greenway.

If any participants are absolutely unable to provide their own shuttle (coming by themselves, coming from out of town and can't bring two vehicles, coming with someone else who is unable to drive, etc), Oconee Outfitters will be providing a very limited number of seats on their shuttle. Please call them to discuss details at (478) 452-3890. All shuttle riders will be required to wear a mask while on the van. If they do not bring their own mask, they will be required to purchase a disposable 3 ply mask from Oconee Outfitters for an additional $2.
