Join The Artisans Village to learn about painting techniques using palette knives with acrylic paint. You will do a painting together. Please bring a 12×16 Masterson Sta-Wet Palette ready to go with a sponge and palette paper. For the materials cost of $5 instructor Linda Foster will supply 2 substrates and 2 palette knives for you to use and take with you.

Supplies for Students to bring:

1. A table easel if you like to paint at an easel as opposed to flat;
2. Please bring a 12×16 Masterson Sta-Wet Palette ready to go with sponge and palette paper. They usually have them at Hobby Lobby, Dick Blick online, Cheap Joe’s online or here is a link in Amazon:  Click here.
3. Any palette knives you already have and would like to bring (two will be supplied for the cost of materials)
4. Acrylic Paint (artist heavy body paint, not liquid or sometimes called soft body paint—Linda Foster prefers Utrecht brand paint, but you have to order that or go to the Dick Blick store in Atlanta, so feel free to get Golden Artist series or Liquitex Heavy Body if you are going to Hobby Lobby) in these colors: ultramarine blue; Pthlalo blue green shade; alizarin crimson; cadmium red light; titanium white; cadmium yellow light; and yellow ochre.
5. 2 cups for water;
6. Paper towel;
7. Ruler;
8. Pencil and eraser.
