The Steeple Chase 5K road race and 1 Mile Fun Run is an annual event that raises funds for a local organization supporting community needs. All the funds raised at the event go towards this chosen organization. The event takes place at Eatonton First United Methodist Church in Eatonton, Georgia.

This year, organizers have decided to offer a virtual race option as well. Virtual participants do not need to be present on Race Day and have a two-week period to complete the 3.1 miles. All pre-registered participants, whether virtual or in-person, will receive a Steeple Chase 5K race shirt.

The virtual race option allows anyone, anywhere, to participate at a time and place of their choosing if they are unable to join in person. Furthermore, in the event that the in-person event cannot take place due to weather or other circumstances, all registered participants will automatically become virtual participants and the Race will continue as planned.
